Kordel's St. John’s Wort is derived exclusively from the herb’s flowers, which contain more hyperforin than any other part of the plant. It is standardized to supply the full-spectrum of active compounds, and each 300 mg capsule provides 0.28% hypericin (840 mcg per capsule). It may cause photosensitization. Avoid exposure to strong sunlight while taking St. John’s Wort. There may be possible interactions with certain categories of drugs such as mood elevating drugs, narcotics, cyclosporine, digoxin, theophylline, tobultamide, warfarin and idinavir.
